The Phase Retrieval Problem for the Radar Ambiguity Function and the Radar Ambiguity Function for the Phase Retrieval Problem
This talk is based on a joint paper with A. Bonami and G. Garrigós [3] in which the phase retrieval problem for the Radar Ambiguity Function (i.e. the Radar Ambiguity Problem) has been tackled. In particular it was shown that for wide classes of signals, the radar ambiguity problem has a unique solution, up to trivial transformations. In the second part of the talk, we report on ongoing work by...
متن کاملDiscrete Radar Ambiguity Problems
In this paper, we pursue the study of the radar ambiguity problem started in [Ja, GJP]. More precisely, for a given function u we ask for all functions v (called ambiguity partners) such that the ambiguity functions of u and v have same modulus. In some cases, v may be given by some elementary transformation of u and is then called a trivial partner of u otherwise we call it a strange partner. ...

متن کاملPhase retrieval for imaging problems
We study convex relaxation algorithms for phase retrieval on imaging problems. We show that exploiting structural assumptions on the signal and the observations, such as sparsity, smoothness or positivity, can significantly speed-up convergence and improve recovery performance. We detail numerical results in molecular imaging experiments simulated using data from the Protein Data Bank (PDB).
متن کاملBenchmark problems for phase retrieval
The hardest instances of phase retrieval arise in crystallography, where the signal is periodic and comprised of atomic distributions arranged uniformly in the unit cell of the crystal. We have constructed a graded set of benchmark problems for evaluating algorithms that perform this type of phase retrieval. A simple iterative algorithm was used to establish baseline runtimes that empirically g...
